You may be familiar with Team Notified Body (“Team NB”), which was formed in 2001 and is made up of 40+ members. They provide trainings, publish position papers, and provide other best practice guidance to industry.
Now there is a similar association for the UK: Team Approved Body (“Team AB”).
At present, a public website has not been published. However, you may read their announcement and follow them on LinkedIn: HERE
Team AB aims to create transparency between the Approved Bodies and to present a unified voice when communicating with stakeholders, such as the MHRA. They will likely become a useful resource for manufacturers and other industry stakeholders. Particularly if they, like Team NB, publish position papers and offer UKCA marking-related training.
